GILES FUNERAL SERVICES were held Tuesday, May 1, 1979, in the Lindquist Kays-vill- e Mortuary with Bishop Lloyd Poulson of the Layton 5th LDS Ward officiating. Commencing at 1 p.m. the family prayer was given by a brother John V. Adams. The invocation was given by Wesley Ehlers. A vocal solo was Melody of Love, presented by Harris Adams. HAZEL MORGAN1 Mrs. Hazel Morgan, 89, of , 508 North Adamswood, Lay-to- n died Friday April 27, 1979 in the Davis North Medical Center. She was born October 25, 1889 in Layton, a daughter of Elias P. and Hannah Fanning Adams. SPEAKERS Velma M. Giles, 66, died April 29, 1979 in the Davis North Medical Center of a heart attack. SHE WAS born on Sept. 12, in Tarkio, Mo., to Dr. George E. and Mary Schultz McBride. She was married to Frank P. Giles on June 5, 1912 1934. Mrs. Giles taught first grade in Magna before moving to Kaysville in 1955. She worked for Hill AFB for 21 years before retiring. She moved to Phoenix, Ariz. in 1972 and returned to Kaysville, March 1979. INCLUDED John Morgan and Lyle Porter, a grandson, with remarks being given by ? ON NOV. 25, 1913, she was married to John Earl Morgan ;in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died on April 9, 1951. ; Mrs. Morgan was retired :from Hill AFB and was a lifelong resident of Layton. All are friends of Tetsu Okuda. MR. OKUDA came to the U.S. in 1905 and worked for the railroad. In 1908 he . the Hansens during their residency in Idaho.
