Sec. 17S. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep, store, pile or erect, maintain or permit upon any permises owned, occupied by, or under the control oi him, or them within the fire limits of this city, any shavings, rags, dry goods boxes, barrels, or other inflamable or combustible materials, in such manner as to endanger the safety of any building or structure within the said fire limits, is guilty of an offense. Sec. 116. Every ierson who shall obstruct, or injure, orcause to be obstructed or injured any public street, alley, sidewalk or bridge, or continue such obstructions so as to render the same inconvenient or dangerous to pass; or who shall dig up any of the streets, sidewalks or public grounds of thi city, or obstruct or encumber the same for any purpose, without first obtaining permission from the city council, is guilty of an offense.
