Resolution Pass, ed By Council. In Excellent Rendered. Program Of The regular meeting of the city council was held in the council chambers Friday evening June 9. Mayor Alma Hague, Councilmen A. H. Belliston, Thomas Bailey, James Garrett, and Mark Bigler were present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The report of the building inspector was considered and after careful consideration the city attorney was instructed to notify the owners of the old social hall that it had been condemed by the city Council and ordered torn down. The report of the city justice of the peace was approved and ordered fi'ed. The city attorney was instructed to call on the officers of the Denver and Rio Grand Railroad Co. and have them fix the railroad crossing on main street. The following resolution wa passed: Be it resolved by the city council of Nephi city: That the Mayor of Nephi City be and is hereby authorized to enler and aign a contract with Alfrd Lunt for the rent of the council chambers and office in the up stairs of the Lunt building on the east side of main street in Nephi City, Utah, including the two rooms formerly rented by the commercial club of Nephi City, known as the assembly room and kitchen; said rental to be $35.00 per month for the win ter months and t30.00 per month for the summer months, said rent to include heating of bui'd- ing at all times to the entire sat isfaction of the city council, and aid lease to run from June 1st, was 1916 to January 1st. Mary Jonsson Pexton died at her home Monday morn ing of general debility. She was born at Malmo, Sweden, April 2. 1941.
