The baseball game between the married and single men on the Fourth unfortunately ended in the third inning just when it was getting to be the most interesting. Reid was in the box .for the papas, and the way the singles fanned his balls wasn't slow, and they were only able to make 5 runs as against 9 for the marrieds. The horse races being scheduled for an early hour, many of the players had to leave, and the game will be played again next Wednesday, as the married batters believe that they can "put it over" the singles again. was as follows The line-u- p Bachelors Benedicts E. Undiluted cow's milx should never be given to an infant under the age of 11 months. It is impossiable to prescribe a quantity and modification of milk best suited for all cases, as infants differ in their require- ments.and a competent physician should, if poasiable, be consulted. For the benefit of those who cannot consult a physican, the following rules are suggested as being generally applicable: For the first few days after birth, a total amount of 2 ounces may be given consisting of 1 part milk. 1 part lime water and 2 parts boiled water, to which is added i teaspoonful of milk sugar. This may be increased in a few days to 24 ounces if the baby will take it; using the same proportion of the ingredients. When two weeks old, the pro portions and amount may be changed to 1 3 ounces milk, J ounce lime water, 2 ounces of boiled water and 1 teaspoonful of milk sugar. The success with which the towns of Lehi and Manti have met in conducting a home-coing celebration has caused many of our leading town people to suggest that Nephi have a homecoming this fall. There are nearly three hundred former Nephi people residing in Salt Lake alone besides scores of others living in other towns who would be glad to come home for a celebration and shake hands with their many friends. The products of our dry farms, orchards, etc. could be put on display and outside people would come to see this splendid community of ours. Let everyone come to the Commercial Club rooms next Tuesday evening at 8 p. m., when the matter will be carefully discussG. M. Whitmore, Mayor. ed. Sacred Concert Sunday Evening.
