At the Saturday afternoon session, the meeting was opened with prayer by A. R. Paxman. Pres. I. II. Grace encouraged the fathers and mothers to assist their boys and girls to prepare their lessons in the various organizations, that they may get more , good from them. He also spoke of the teacher's work, and said that they should make a business of it, and not go at it in a haphazard way. Pres. Unity Chappell of the Stake Relief and Alice Garrett of the Stake Primary, and Elizabeth Grace of the Religion class reported that these organizations were in a healthy condition, being and laboring fully organized Pres. earnestly to do good. Seymour B. Young spoke on the "Personality of God", and the "Restoration of the Gospel". He also warned the saints against criticising the authorities, as it is a sure sign of apostasy, and unless those doing this repent, they will lose their testimony and faith in the gospel. Apostle Hyrum M. Smith spoke of the necessity of the members of the church living good and pure lives, as acts in their lives that are not proper, are laid at the door and charged up to the church. Sunday, the Sunday school session of the conference was held with stake superintendent A. R. Paxman in charge. Some good songs were rendered, and prayer was offered by David Cazier. The sacrament gem was repeated by the school led by H. A. Christensen. Sacrament was administered by Herman Vickers and Albert Sells. Stake organist Grace Judd rendered sacred organ solos during the passing of the sacrecitation, rament.. Concert "The Beatitudes", was led by H. A: Christensen.
