The people of Nephi will regret to , 1 e a r n of the untimely death of Mrs. Hazel Osborne, formerly Miss Hazel Norton of this place. Mrs. Osborne died at Kamas Utah Saturday Oct. 18, 1913, of B r i g h t s disease. Sne was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Norton, who died when Hazel was but three years of age. Grandma Sperry took the young orphan and raised her. Last February she was married to Mr. Osborne of Kamas. One of the grandest funerals ever witnessed in Kamas was held Wednesday Oct. 22nd over the remains of Mrs. Oiborne. The funeral services were presided over by Bishop M. N. P a c k of Kamas. The speakers were VV. I. Norton of Ogden. Don E. Pack, Wm. Russell of Kamas and Bishop Pack, all spoke of the lovable disposition and upright life of the deceased. The funeral was one of the best and most beautifully arranged affairs. There were fourteen teams of w h i t e horse3 hitched to new surreys for the mourners, and fourteen teams of black horses hitched to new surreys for members of the lodge and church officials. This was all arranged by the good peo ple of Kamas free of charge. The people of Nephi who were present state it was one of the best and most beautiful funerals they have ever attended. Those of her relatives who attended the funeral were as follows: Mrs Josepn Broadhead, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sperry Sr., Mr. and Mrs. VV. H. Sperry, Miss MabelS per ry of Nephi Mr. and Mrs. W. I.
