Day to ba held at Nephi, Saturday May 3, 1913 at 2 o'clock: Base ball game, team from each ward, one mile run, 8S0 yard run, 440 yard run, 220 yard run, 100 yard dash, relay race, team from each ward of f o u t men each. Broad running jump, running high jump, pole vault, shot put. hammer throw. A silver trophy cup will be awarded to the winning ward base ball team A gold engraved signet pin will be awarded to first place winners in the track and field events with blue rib bon second and white ribbon third. First place winners in any of the ''rack and field events in the Stake Meet, will be eligible to compete in the Stake Mutual Meet which will be held in Salt Lake City in June. All enrolled members of t h e Juab Stake Mutuals are eligible to compete in Stake M. I. A. Meet. Those who anticipate tailing part in any of the events send your name in as soon as te possible. He had been suffering from Pneumonia only three or four days and no one Had thought his case serious with the exception of a few of the relatives who had been made to that the end was near. Sunday morning he arose with the of making a fire and in a few moments afterward he passed away. Mr. Slade was born in Auck land New Zealand, Dec. 1851, and has traveled the near think around considerable and some twenty five years ago c a m e to Utah. He leaves a wife and four world children to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held in the Mona Ward house at 2 p.m. April Hth. Meeting of Utopia Club The members of the Utopia enjoyed a very pleasant evening, last Friday, at the home of Miss Neva Booth in the form of a pinafore party. The deceased was 83 years of ige at her death. She joined the church in England when she was a young girl.
