Show Manti Gets First Utah Post-War Plant Huge Textile Firm Buys Plant For War, Post-War Use Employes Civic Leaders Assured Perm ana nee of Industry for Southern Utah; Parachute Company Sells to Reliance Manufacturing Cj. MANTI Utah's first assurance of a new and permanent per-manent postwar industry comes with announcement that the Reliance Manufacturing Company. Chicago, will tak over the Manti plant of the Parachute Company of Utah and continue its operation in filling war contracts and then into peacetime product ion of the nationally-famous textile products made by tin's firm. The announcement wa made by Governor Herbert B. .Maw through whose office negotiations for the continued operation of the plant were made, at a meeting last Thursday of employes of the parachute para-chute company, civic and church leaders of the entire area.
