A high, straight drop-kick from the good right toe of Darwin Wood-tury Wood-tury gave Coach George Cooper's Cedar High School Redmen the Region Re-gion Six Six-man Football championship, cham-pionship, the kick giving the Red-men Red-men a two-point victory over Coach Walt Brooks' Dixie Flyers in a thrilling game played on the BAC gridiron Friday afternoon. ; The Redmen and Flyers had won the northern and southern division titles, respectively, without loss of ft game, and throughout the first half of the championship game It looked like the teams may battle to scoreless tie. However, Dixie broke the deadlock with just two minutes left to play In the third quarter, ftnd as the minutes ticket away it looked like the six point lead may give the St. George team the title, tut with three minutes left in the game Cedar tied the score and set the stage for Woodbury's game winning kick. i Cedar marched to the Dixie five yard line early In the first period, but was stopped there and the ball changed hands frequently with most of the play In the center of the field until Dixie broke away in "the middle of the second period to carry the ball to Cedar's 10-yard itripe.
