Show Suzanne Halterman Takes Vows In Church Ceremony Miss Suzanne Halterman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Halterman, and Earl Spencer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Spencer, Spen-cer, were united n marriage in a double ring ceremony which took place Aug. 4 at the Cedar Stake House. Bishop Paul Stokes performed the ceremony before families and friends. j The bride, given In marriage' by her father, wore a full length gown with semi-train, fashioned with imported chantilly lace bo-' dice. The tulle skirt had a chantilly chan-tilly lace inset which was over satin. Her veil was of imported French illusion. She carried a bouquet of white orchids surrounded sur-rounded by red sweetheart roses and white carnations with white streamers. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Garr Johnson. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Lloyd Fullerton. Mrs. Lyn Prestwich, Miss Elaine Lamoreaux, and Mrs. Jane Theobald. Serving as flower girls were nieces of the bride, the Misses Penny Goudge. Lorraine Fife. Joyce Goudge and Pamela Hunter. Standing as best man was Garr Johnson. Music for the evening was fur-, fur-, nished by Clive Hartman. I A reception was given In honor of the couple following the cere-mony. cere-mony. Serving as hostess for the 'evening was Mrs. Donel Hunter. Hunt-er. At "the serving table were Mrs. Max Goudge and Mrs. Tone Fife.' Serving the guests were Mrs. Douglas Bennett, Miss Marge Phillips and Miss Fayone Kleinman. Sitting at the guest book was Mrs. Frank Halterman. Helping in the gift room were 'Mrs. Jay Halterman, Mrs. Glen Halterman, Mrs. Bill Stubbs. Mrs. Don Alger and Miss Peggy Spencer. Spen-cer. Working In the kitchen were Mrs. George Halterman. Mrs. Richard Halterman and Mrs. Gene Halterman. Following the reception the couple left on a wedding trip to Glacier National Park. On their return they will make a home in edar City for a month where the bride Is presently em-played em-played at the business office of the telephone company. In September Sep-tember they will move to Salt Lake City where Mr. Spencer will enter the engineering school at the University of Utah. Out of town guests at the wedding wed-ding and reception were Mrs. John Ward and Miss Peggy Spencer of Oakland, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Max Goudge of Pasadena, Pasa-dena, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Halterman of American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Halterman of Yerlngton. Nev. and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Halterman of Salt Lake City. |
