Show Funeral Services Held Thursday (or Maude Bess Walker Final tribute was paid Mrs. Maude Walker Bess, 68, Thursday Thurs-day afternoon, when funeral services ser-vices were conducted in the Second Sec-ond ward chapel by Edwin C. Cox, bishop's counselor. Mrs. Bess died Sept. 29, following a lingering illness. The program for the services was as follows: Organ music by Mrs. Virginia Larson. Opening song, "Abide With Me," by a mixed quartet com-) com-) posed of Emma Warren, Ruth C. 3 Urie, Myles Walker and Ray 5 Cosslett, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leigh. Invocation by Charles R. Hunter. Hunt-er. Talk by Henry L. Jones. Vocal solo, "In The Garden," by Ruth C. Urie, accompany by Mrs. Larson. Talk by Samuel F. Xeigh. Talk by R. Reid Cox. Vocal duet, "The End of a Perfect Per-fect Day," by Mr. Walker and Mr. Cosslett, accompanied by Mrs. Leigh. Benediction by Bishop Adam Seegmiller. Dedication of the grave by Joseph Jo-seph C. Smith. |
