Show Funeral Services Held For Former Parowan Resident Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Anna Florence Gunn, 63. former Parowan resident, who died at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Roy Small of Antioch, California following a heart attack early Monday, Mon-day, October 6th. Mrs. Gunn, who Joined the-L. D. S. church about a year ago, had been In Salt Lake City attending the general conference and dolna temple work, and was returning to California when she was stricken. She died several hours after reaching reach-ing home. Mrs. Gunn was born in Canon City. Colorado on December 7, 1879. Sha married J. E. Small of Pueblo and three children were born to them, all of whom survive her. Later she and Mr. Small were separated and she married Alfred Gunn of Parowan Paro-wan on December 11, 1923. The couple lived in Parowan until Mr. Gunn's death at which time she moved to California. Surviving are two sons, Roy and C. E. Small, both of Antioch, California, Cali-fornia, and one daughter, Mrs. Opha Grace Halllnan of Mendota, Illinois. Illi-nois. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Small accompanied accom-panied the body to Parowan. |
