BRANDT NELSON Nelson claims Rosenberg in December 18 ceremony Brandt Nelson claimed Miss Karen Rosenberg as his bride In a ceremony performed December Dec-ember 2, 1972 at the Cedar West Stake House with Bishop Willard Hamilton officiating at the double-ring ceremony. The new Mrs. Nelson Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Humbert Rosenberg and the bridegroom is the son of iMr. and Mrs. Granville Nelson, all of Cedar City. The young couple were honored hon-ored at a reception that same evening at the Enchanted Gar. den in Cedar City. The bride greeted guests in a floor length white satin gown with a high neck line and brocade lace yoke trimmed trim-med with tiny pearls. The long train and lull length sleeves were also trimmed with brocade bro-cade lace. Her veil fell to her waist and was attached to a pearl tiara. Her bridal bouquet., included a large orchid surrounded sur-rounded by holly and lavender laven-der mums tied with a lavender ribbon. Attending the bride as matron ma-tron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Gordon (Doris) Goodwin. at the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Randy Rosenberg of Las Vegas, Nev. Their sons, Shane and Jade, helped with the gifts along with Dane, the son of Mrs. Leigh Rosenberg, and David Piper, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Piper of Kelso, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Rosenberg Ros-enberg of Las Vegas, were at the gt book. Grandparents attending were Mr. and Mrs. Clem Judd of Overton, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Lswis Davenport, Paragonah; Mrs. George Nelson and iMrs. Ruth Rosenberg of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Duerksen of Lander, Wyo. were in attendance. at-tendance. fallowing a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas and Phoenix, the couiple are making a home in Cedar City. The new Mrs. Nelson Is a graduate of Cedar City High School...and of . the Robert Steur's Cosmetology College in Salt Lak.e City. Mr. Nelson also al-so graduated from Cedar High and has attended Southern . Utah State College. He is now employed at Southern Utah Lumber. Other attendants included Mrs. David (Lynne) Piper, also al-so a sister of the ibride; Mrs. David Whitehead, Miss Shan-na Shan-na Jolley, Miss Lori Tousley, Miss Jeanne Getz, Miss Diane Jenson. Attendants wore floor length high neck, old fashioned lavender lav-ender gowns. They were accented ac-cented by wide brilm white hats, trimmed with deep purple pur-ple ribbons. .They carried flowers consisting Of Holly with lavender berrys and carnations. car-nations. Miss Lori Piper, a niece of th,e bride, was the flower girl and she wore a floor length dark purple dress trimmed with white and sh? carried the same basket of flowers as the attendants." Standing as best man was Roger Nelson, a brother of the bridegroom. Kevin Nelson, brother of the bridegroom; Kevin Rosenberg, brother of the bride; Mac Ray Wood, David Piper, Gordon Goodwin, Kenney Gower, 'Doug Freeman, L; J. Benson and Linford Nelson, Nel-son, were ushers. For the nuptial occasion the mothers of the bride and bridegroom selected costumes of deep purple tops with printed print-ed skirt of floor length.
