Show D MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM R. WILLAHAN Pamela Hunter claimed by Vm. R. Willahan in LDS Temple rites I Pamela Hunter became the bride of Mr. Williaim R. Willahan Wil-lahan In rites solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on Amrll 91 1073 PrpsMonf Tho State. The young couple are now making their home in Provo Utah where both are students at BYU. ron B. Ashcroft officiated at the double ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donel Hunter of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Willahan of Keairns, Utah. Following the ceremony a luncheon was hosted toy the bridegrooms parents at the Deserata In Cedar Canyon. A reception honoring the couple was held that evening in the LDS Institute of Religion. The brides dress was of silk or-ganza or-ganza over satin and featured long sleeves with old fashioned fashion-ed lace trim as was the 'bodice, 'bo-dice, bottom niffle, and detachable de-tachable train. Her head piece was of old fashioned lace and seeded pearls, caught to a veil of bridal Illusion. She carried a bouquet of spring green straw flowers, baby breath and fresh white daisies. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Lee (Colleen) (Col-leen) iFlfe. Bridesmaids were' Mrs. Wayne (Bobette) Clark, Mrs. Dave (Annette) Shaw, Mrs. Mike (Diane) Gardner, Mrs. Monty (Carla) Stratton, and Miss Wendy Willahan a sister of the groom. Thcid dresses were of yellow dotted swiss following an old fashioned look. They carried white baskets of spring green straw flowers, fresh white and yellow daisies and were trimmed trim-med with a yellow bow. They i also wore white lace hats trimmed in yellow. Best man was Donnie Hunter and ushers were (Bradley Hunter, Brent Lee Hunter and Russ Wila-han. Wila-han. The mothers of the bridal couple wore long yellow crepe dresses with corsages made from straw flowers. Also Al-so sharing honors in the bridal brid-al line were grandmothers of the bride. Mrs. Pearl J. Halter-man Halter-man and Mrs. Leona Hunter, and an Aunt and uncle of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Don Willard. Serving as host and hostess for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Tone Fife, and Mrs. Herbert Corry. Presiding at thg guest 'book were Mrs. Danny (Barbara) Cowan, and Mrs. Scott (Debbie) Nelson. At the punch bowl were Mrs. Max Goudge, Mrs. Earl Spencer, Mrs. Tony Pace and Mrs. June Hunter. The gifts were arranged by Mrs. Dale (Diane) Hoff, Kim Corry, Joyce Goudge, Mrs. Gaylord (Lorraine) Slack, Judy Roberts, Rob-erts, Gail Grimshaw, Rosilind Clark, Mrs. Bernie (Linda) Reber, Mrs. Pat (Sherry) Mc-Mullin Mc-Mullin Mrs. Mark (Denise) Cole, and Sharon Dederick. Serving were cousins of the bride, Jan Corry, Paulette, Judy and Flora Halterman, Annette Fife and LeeAnn Spencer. The bouquets, corsages cor-sages and centerpieces at the reception were designed and arranged by a cousin of the bride, Mrs. Oaig (Penny) Collette of San Marino, Calif. The bride and groom were al-so al-so honored at an Open House held on April 28th in Kearns, Utah. Bridal showers were given by Mrs. Diane Gardner, and Mrs. Colleen Fife at the home of Mrs. Jack Whiting in Cedar City, and by students and friends of the bride in Provo, Utah. The bride is a graduate of Cedar High School and Southern Utah State College with a BS. degree de-gree in Elementary Education. Educa-tion. The groom graduated from Kearns High School and attended SUSC before fulfilling fulfil-ling a mission in Washington r |
