Show S": J 'r ; I - , j i. i i REBECCA FISHER Rebecca Fisher tells nuptial plans Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Baker, Champaign, 111., announced the engatement of Rebecca Fisher at an open house held in their home on July 2(ith. Ms. Fisher, daughter of Mrs. Baker and the late Mr. Elbert T. Fisher, is the bride-elect of Edward A. Jacobsen, son of Edward A. Jacobsen and the late Annabelle Thain Jacobsen of Tucson, Ariz. Ms. Fisher's maternal grandmother is Mrs. W. H. Leigh of Cedar City. Ms. Fisher graduated from Centennial High School, Champaign, in 1971 and graduated cum laude with a BA degree from the University of Utah in March 1975. During her senior year she was elected and served as Vice President of the Associated Students of the University of Utah and was selected as a member of the Beehive Honor Society. New York City has been her home during the summer months while she was employed by Hospital Audiences, Inc. She will enter the University oif of Utah Law School this fall. . The bridegroom-elect is a 1972 graduate of Tooele High Schook, Tooele, Utah. He was an Honors-at-Entrance student at the University of Utah and is currently a Junior in Physics and Mining Engineering. The wedding is scheduled for August 16th in Salt Lake City. |
