Show David Morrison, Joyce Whitney married in Salt Lake Temple ( b i ' mu PAROWAN Joyce Whitney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer R. Whitney of Provo, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Whitney of Parowan, became the bride of David C. Morrison in a ceremony performed per-formed on Friday, May 14, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Following the wedding, the couple were honored at a wedding luncheon given by the bridegroom's mother. A reception was held for the newlyweds that evening in the Provo 13th ward cultural hall. The parents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Lois G. Morrison, Provo, and the late Archibald McNair Morrison. The bridal gown featured a high waistline and stand-up neckline with an imported lace yoke inset. The sleeves were long and fitted with an imported lace overlay. She wore a fingertip length veil of bridal illusion attached to a headpiece covered with imported lace. Attending the bride at the reception were the sister of the bride, Julie Whitney, as maid of honor with Lisa Morrison, Jennifer Morrison, and Stephenie Morrison, sisters of the bridegroom, as bridesmaids. They wore pink polyester crepe gowns. Serving as best man was James W. Jackson, and Steven Whitney and James Morrison were ushers. Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Whitney of Parowan, Mr. Archie Morrison Sr., Lander Wyoming, and Mrs. Lois Graham of Salt Lake City, grandparents of the bridegroom. Pre-nuptial parties have been given by Mrs. Boyd McAffee and Dawn McAffee; Mrs. LaMar nr Ammtmm-mmmMtt MRS. DAVID C. Following the honeymoon, the couple made their home in Provo while the bridegroom attends Brigham Young University.. |
