Show Barbara Willis and Robert D. Corry united in marriage in Salt Lake LDS temple rites The bridegroom graduated from Cedar High School and has filled a mission for the LDS Church to Chili. Ho is presently a Junior at SUSC. Miss Barbara Willis and Robert D. Corry were united in marriage rites solemnized in tlu Salt Lake Temple August Au-gust 2S. Willard Smith, a great uncle of the bride, officiated of-ficiated at the double ring ceremony. A garden reception honored the nevvlyvveils that evening and was hosted at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bertram Willis in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood J. Corry, Cor-ry, parents of the bridegroom hosted a- wedding breakfast at the Gable Room in the Lion Li-on Hons,, following the ceremony cere-mony for '10 people. They also al-so honored the young couple at an Open House on August .'ID at tlvlr home, 2C.1 So. 31)1) W. in Cedar City. The biide wore a gown of chiffon and lace featuring an empire waist and lace bodice. Long flowing chiffon sleeves culminated with Bishop cuffs. Her finger-tip veil flowed down from a head band of matching lace. She carried a bouquet of carnations and roses. Attending the bride were Misses LuJean, Rebecca, Florence, Flor-ence, and Mary Beth Willi, Elizabeth Corry, and Mrs. Slgman Peacock. They carried car-ried baskets of yellow daisies. Steven Corry, the bridegroom's bride-groom's brother of Portland, Oregon, was best man while John Rollo, E. J. Corry, David Willis, and Bertram (Tim) Willis ushered. Both mothers wore yellow accented with corsages of carnations and yellow roses. The newlyweds greeted guests at the Open House in a garden setting with music, being furnished by Mrs. Scott Uric, Mrs. Sterling C. Tanner, Eric Tanner, and Kathy Tanner. Tan-ner. Mrs. Joseph (Judy) Little presided at the guest book. Mrs. Bill Coffman, Columbia, Colum-bia, Mo.; Mrs. Lloyd Corry, American Fork; Miss Christine Christ-ine Henrickson, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Steven Corry; Mrs. Roe Palmer; and Mrs. Ar-dean. Ar-dean. Childs helped with the refreshments. Also helping with the refreshments re-freshments were Mrs. Edward Parry, Mrs. Reed Leigh, Mrs. Cliff'ton Chatterly, Mrs. Howard How-ard Weed, Mrs. Blaine Johnson, John-son, Mrs. Neal Boyter, Mrs. , Wilson Lunt, and Mrs. Orvillc Isom. The newlyweds honeymooned honey-mooned at Brighton and the Southern Utah Canyons. The bride is a graduate of West High in Salt Lake and is now a student at SUSC where she is a senior majoring major-ing in English. |
