Show Miss NaDene Dodge Marries In Temple Ceremonies St. George Temple rites on August 23 united a young Cedar Ce-dar City couple in marriage. President Rudgar Atkin officiated offi-ciated at the double-ring ceremony cere-mony which made Joseph Heywood and NaDene Dodge man and wife. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Dodge, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. James Heywood. The newlyweds were honored honor-ed at a reception in the Cedar 3rd-4th Ward Church that same evening. The bride wore an original gown of delustered satin. An organza cage with Florintine Rose applique covered the satin. sat-in. A floor-length veil and a bouquet of white carnations and glamelias accented with orange glamelias completed the bridal picture. Attendants, Misses Linda Christensen, Carol Hunt and Mary Heywood wore floor-length floor-length dresses of white and orange dotted Swiss and carried car-ried baskets of orange marigolds. mari-golds. Kay Heywood was best man, and the ushers were Darryl Ence, Brent Hunter, Gary Le-Baron, Le-Baron, Russell Dodge, and Kevin Dodge. Mrs. Dodge wore an avocado avo-cado green wool shift. Mrs. Heywood's avocado green shift was of bonded crepe. Both drosses were accented with corsages of white glamelias. As the newlyweds left for .a .honeymoon trip in Salt Lake, the bride wore a lime green skirt with a white lace blouse. Both the bride and the bridegroom will attend BYU, where he is Phi Kappa Phi and has a scholarship. Pre-nutial courtesies included in-cluded a "By the Hour Shower" Show-er" given by Carol Hunt and Linda Christensen and a Kitchen Shower given by Win-ona Win-ona Cowan and Patti Lyman. |
