Show Miss Bonnie Magleby j Becomes Bride In Home Ceremonies A June wedding at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Cowley in Cedar City united Miss Bonnie Kay Magleby and Kent A. Bishop Bis-hop in marriage. The single ring ceremony was performed by Bp. G a y 1 o r d Whitney, Saturday j June 25. j Parents of the couple, Mr. and i Mrs. V. R. Magelby, Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Van Bishop of 'Delta, along with close friends and relatives witnessed the rites which were followed by a nup-! nup-! tial party hosted by. Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Cowley and Mrs. A. W. Stephenson. Before the ceremony, Mrs. Richard Winterrose presented a ' vocal solo and throughout the 'evening background music was 1 played on the organ by Mrs. Dex Cowley. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Jack Sawyers. I Mrs. Ron McKim, Miss JoAnn 01-'son 01-'son and Miss Suzanne Magleby were bridesmaids. Their dresses were of pink rayon styled to match the bridal gown. They held nosegays of daises. The bride wore a gown of linen with a lace apron panel fronting the full-length empire-waist dress. The dress featured elbow-length elbow-length sleeves and round neckline. neck-line. A bouffant shoulder-length veil secured to a crown of imitation im-itation jewels and a cascade bouquet of daisies completed her ensemble. Best man was Ken Mortenson while Clark Magleby, Jack Sawyers, Saw-yers, Stanley Slack and Vance Bishop were ushers. Assisting at the nuptial party were Mrs. Craig Whittekiend as guest book attendant, Mary Lee Harrison and Sherrie Iverson as gift room attendants and Mrs. LeGrand Magleby and Mrs. Loy Kile as refreshment hostesses. c : w, .vilo ufora PlnriQRP OlVUlg v..v- Tucker, Jan Jones, Marie Magleby, Magle-by, Terri Bradshaw, Lynette Cowley and Debbie Kile. The bride's mother wore a pink-beigh lace sheath adorned with an orchid while the bridegroom's bride-groom's mother wore a white suit and an orchid corsage. For her honeymoon trip to Grand Canyon, Ariz., the bride chose a navy blue sheath with contrasting accessories. The newlyweds will make their home in Cedar City where Mr. Bishop is employed as a teacher. Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of Utah State University Un-iversity and both had previously attended College of Southern Utah. The new Mrs. Bishop has! taught this past year at Weber j State College in Ogden. Mr. Bishop Bis-hop has also completed an LDS Mission in Mexico and has spent three years in the armed forces. Pre-nuptial parties for Bonnie included a social given by the Family Life Department at Weber We-ber State College. |
