DOW DELL Helen Christa Haycock Takes Wedding Vows In a double ring wedding ceremony cere-mony solemnized recently by President Benjamin L. Bowring, Miss Helen Christa Haycock and Delbert Jay DowDell, exchanged marriage vows In the Los Angeles Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Following the wedding a reception re-ception was held at the Whittier Stake House of the LDS Church, where friends and relatives extended ex-tended their felicitations to the young couple. Helen Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Haycock of 13913 E. Dicky St., former Parowan residents. res-idents. She was graduated from Sierra High School where she was a member of Kiomonas, a Trl-Hi-y Girls' Club. The bridegroom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. R. DowDell, Sr.. of 15129 Caravaca Rr., La Mirada, was graduated from George Washington High School. He attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and at Los Angeles. He has also served serv-ed two years In the United States Army. For her wedding and reception, the bride chose a gown of nylon tulle with lace appliques. She wore a French Illusion veil with a crown of pearllzed illly-of-the-valley and laurel leaves. She carried red roseuds and white orchids or-chids in her bouquet , Miss' Marilyn Mae Briskey, wearing turquoise satin peau de sol. With pink (nutations anrf turquoise ribbon for her bjuquet, was maid of honor. Alsi wearing turquoise were the bridesmaids, Miss Marilyn Northrop and Miss Rosemary Remland. Colleen Haycock, Hay-cock, the bride's sister, was a junior bridesmaid. Charles Ray DowDell, Jr., was his brother's best man. Ushers , were Robert W. Ibey, Gary Jones, Byron luey, Larry and Scott Hay- 'cock. At the reception, Mrs. Haycock 'wore a pink silk organza dress with eyelet trim to greet the guests. The bridegroom's moth-,er moth-,er chose an apricot sheath. Both mothers wore cymbldium orchid ' corsages. 1 Miss Jan Looney, Miss Sharon j Sadler.
