Show V.- . (f j v 'I :: ,-:..-YtT: - ' T 4 1 - r EXCHANGE VOWS: Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Crawford, who exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony on July 19. The bride is the former Miss Joye Crosby. They are now making mak-ing their home in Salt Lake City. Joye Crosby Recites Vows in Double Ring Nuptials A double rind ceremony performed per-formed at the Cedar Stake House on July 19 by Bishop Burton White united in marriage Miss Joye Crosby and Mr. Darwin Crawford, popular young Cedar City people. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack L. Crosby and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Crawford. The ceremony was performed in the presence of the immediate families and close friends of the couple. Following the ceremony the couple were honored at a reception recep-tion in the Relief Society rooms of the stake house. Following the reception the newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip through the southern Utah parks. They are now making their home in Salt Lake City where Mr. Crawford is employed as a hair stylist, and ' where Mrs. Crawford will enter a beauty school. For her marriage the bride wore a lovely ballerina-length net gown with fitted lace badice. and lace and net overskirt. Her tulle veil hung from a cap of pearls. Her bouquet was a white orchid surrounded by pink rose buds. Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Ver-nile Ver-nile Matheson, and bridesmaids were the Misses Maurine Wheeler, Wheel-er, Karen Jones, Jennie Gae Hall, and Linda Knell. Serving as best man for the groom was Dell Bowers, Bow-ers, Salt Lake City. Miss Marie Bladen was flower girl and Jackie Jack-ie Crosby, brother of the bride, was rine bearer. Ushers were Lloyd Crawford, Vernile Matheson, Mathe-son, Robert Holyoak and Howard Stokes. Mrs. Boyd Bladen was hostess at tne reception, with Mrs. i'res-ton i'res-ton Williams in charge of the Guest book. Serving were Zoe Leone Palmer, Judy Nelson, Judy Lunt, Bonnie Bulloch, Rose Stevens, Ste-vens, Tonl Lawrence, LaRue Bladen Bla-den and Pat Hall. Music for the occasion was y Gayle Crawford and Deanna Dotson. In charge of the gift room were Emma Warren, Marva Palmer and Colleen Williams. Helping in the kitchen were Odessa Gentry, Tonl Hunter, Bertha Jones, Reta Wakeling and Ila Sherratt. A most beautiful wedding cake made for the occasion by Ger-aldine Ger-aldine Berry graced the serving table. Both the bride and groom are graduates of Cedar City High School. The bride graduated in May, 1958, after having been prominent In music activities of the school during her attendance. attend-ance. Mr. Crawford graduated in 1955. |
