Show William Woodburys Celebrate Golden Wedding Date Mr. and Mrs. William E. Woodbury, Wood-bury, Hurricune, will celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary Anniver-sary Sept. 11, with an open house In their home. Friends and rela-tiveg rela-tiveg are invited to call Irom 3 to G p. m. They request no gifts. Mr. Woodbury was born In St. George, Utah, July 1, 1888, son of John T. and Mary Evans Woodbury. Wood-bury. Mrs. Woodbury, the former Verda Sullivan, was born in Har-risburg, Har-risburg, Washington County, on April 30, 1891, a daughter of William Wil-liam D. and Mary Ann McMullin Sullivan. They were married September Sep-tember 6, 1910 in the SL George LPS Temple. They have spent a life of ser-. ser-. -vice to their church and community. com-munity. Mr. Woodbury taught school for 25 years in Mesquite, Nev.; Leeds, St. George and Hurricane, Hur-ricane, Utah. He served vst-master vst-master of Hurricane for 22 years, retiring on Aug. 1, 1958. He has -worked In all of the organizations organiza-tions of the church, both in stake and ward. When the Zion Park Stake was organized he was the first superintendent of the TMMIA. He served for several terms as Hurricane Town Board Ut-rk and Is at present a member mem-ber of the Town Board. Hobbles now are experimenting with all kinds of fruits and nuts. Mrs. Woodbury has served as YWMIA president, Primary teacher, teach-er, Relief Society secretary both of stake and ward for more than 15 years. At present she is serving serv-ing as a Relief Society visiting teacher. Her hobbies are crocheting crochet-ing and collecting cups and saucers. sau-cers. They are parents of seven children, chil-dren, six of whom are living. They are: Mrs. Reed (lone) Brad-shaw, Brad-shaw, Cedar City; Errol S., Re-qua, Re-qua, Calif.; W. Evans, North Og-den; Og-den; Garth L. (deceased); Ru-lan Ru-lan D., Cedar City, Mrs. Clare (Marylynn) Reber, Santa Clara, and J. Bryce, Sacramento, Calif.
