Show MISS LINDA MAT EDWARDS 1 Popular Couple Exchange Marriage Vows I The Manti LDS Temple was the scene Nov. 27 for the wedding ot Miss Linda May Erwards and Dwain LeVell Sylvester. The former Miss Edwards is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards, Fillmore, Utah. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Sylvester, Cedar City. Friday, Nov. 29, a reception was given in Fillmore by the bride's parents. For this occasion the bride wore her wedding dress which was fashioned from silk organza with a chantilly lace front panel. The white full-length full-length gown featured a chapel train and pointed wrist-length sleeves. Linda's cascading bridal veil was shaped with lily-of-tiie-valley designed to draw attention atten-tion to a large white orchid. Her seed pearl crown held a veil of bridal Illusion. A fall color theme was used in the dresses of the attendants who wore salmon colored sheath dresses styled from taffeta material. ma-terial. Complementing their dresses were costumes of bronze chrysanthemums surrounded by whltp rnsu As her maid of hon or the bride chose Miss Carolann Lambert Miss Janet Roblson, Miss Connie Edwards and Miss Judy Wilcock were chosen as bridesmaids. Best man was William Batty while Norris, Clayton and Doyle Edwards served as ushers for the occasion. Following a honeymoon trip the newlyweds will return to Cedar Ce-dar City where they will make their home. Both the bride and bridegroom g'f students at the Colloge of Southern Utah. The bride Is a senior, majoring, in elementary education. She has been active in the Drama Club at CSU and is a past members of the Xi Lambda Tau and the Lambda Delta Sororities. She has also been a member of the Broncettes marching group on campus. Currently Cur-rently she is the secretary of the USEA Club. Mr. Sylvester, who is a graduate grad-uate of Dixie College, has attended at-tended College of Southern Utah recently where he plans to complete com-plete his studies toward an education ed-ucation major. He is active in music circles having performed in the "Requiem" and the spring quarter opera. Dwaln has also filled a mission in South America. Amer-ica. Open house will be held Dec 7 in Cedar City for the popular couple. |
