BRENT FOULGER Anna Carter Recites Vows with Brent Foulger In Nuptial Ceremonies Performed August 16 Miss Anna Carter became the bride of Brent Bond Folger during dur-ing vows spoken in the St. George LDS Temple. Officiating at the August 16th double-ring ceremony was Temple President Rudgar Atkln. I After the services the newly-1 weds were honored at a nuptial breakfast at the "Home Spun"! given by tht parents cf the bride-, groom, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Foulger of Alexandria, Va. The Foulgers are former Cedar City, residents. Among the wedding party in ' attendance were parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo L. Carter of Cedar City. I The College of Southern Utah I Family Living Center was the setting for a reception held in honor of the new Mr. and Mrs. Foulger. For the occas'oi An i . greeted guests in her v : " . ; gown created of deluste:ed satin, appliqued with sequins andj pearls around the neck line with matching sleeves, chapel length ' train and was styled with a tight ! fitted bodice with swooping drop waist. Accenting the bridal gown ! was a shoulder-length veil of j silk illusion attached to a crown of pearls and sequins with pearl drops circling the top. Anna carried a bridal bouquet fash-1 ioned from pink glamelias surrounding sur-rounding a large white orchid. Maid of honor at the reception was Mrs. Errolyn Wilkinson with Joan Carter, and Virginia Carter, sisters of the bride, serving as bridesmaids. Other bridesmaid attendants were Miss Cathl Henri, Hen-ri, Miss Linda Macfarlane and Miss Trudy Knell. The misses Carolyn Carter and Elaine Foulger Foul-ger acted as Junior bridesmaids and the maid of honor with other attendants dressed in pale pink scoop neck sheaths created of nite light fabric. Accessories for the costumes were crystals and white gloves. Baskets of pink daisies were held by the attendants. attend-ants. Honoring his brother as best man was Keith H. Foulger. Ushers Ush-ers were Gene Yergenson, Calvin Hair, Morris Quarnberg and Gordon Gor-don Loveless. During the reception hours Mrs. Lyle (Nellie Rae) Fullmer sat at the guest book. Mrs. Keith Foulger and Miss Rose Marie Thorn worked in the gift room. Serving were Miss Claude tie Smith, Miss Jackie Heap, Miss Colene Henrie and Mrs. Sam Jones. I Wedding cake for the newly-weds newly-weds was made and decorated by Mrs. Albert Clark. Floral and table decorations were done by Bonnie Riddle. Aunts of the j bride, Mrs. Clair Carter and Mrs. Stanley McKnight, served from a buffet table at the Saturday night party. Out of town guests who arrived ar-rived for the festivities Included Mr. and Mrs. Howard Foulger and Elaine, Elexandria, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Art Carter and family, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Eugene Newy and daughter, Nancy Poul-scn. Poul-scn. Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Foulger, Swan Valley, Ida.; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fullmer, Logan and Mrs. Rae Foulger, Odgen, grandmother of the bridegroom. Others who traveled here to the wedding affair were Mrs. Clara Bond of Clearfield, Miss Norma Foulger, Tasadena, Calif.; Mrs. Jack Taggert and daughter of Nampa, Ida.; Mrs. Stewart A. Wright and family of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Annie Hamilton, grandmother of the bride, of Beaver. Bea-ver. Following the reception the couple departed for a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Zion and Grand Canyon. As a going away costume cos-tume Anna wore a brown linen suit with beige assessorles. At CSU Anna was affiliated with Phi Alpha Beta sorority. During her two years there she was also a member of the Sponsor Spon-sor group and various school committees. She Is currently em-ployed em-ployed at the Mt. States Telephone Tele-phone Office In Cedar City. Brent graduated last spring from two year college at CSU where he was affiliated with Gamma Psl Upsilon fraternity. He is now employed with the U. S. Forest Service. The couple plan to make their home in Cedar City and continue contin-ue studies at CSU. |
