Show Friends and Relatives Honor Dries On Golden Wedding Over 300 friends and relatives paid tribute to Mr. and Mrs. D. Claude Urle who celebrated their Golden Wedding on May 31 at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rulan D. Woodbury. Those present from out-of-town were: Mr. and Mrs. Richard De Rose and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Uri and daughter, Mrs. Dolores Hill and daughters, Mrs. Barbara Martlnes and daughter, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Francis Shreve, San Diego, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Crawford and daughters from Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rollo, California; Dr. and Mrs. David Urle and daughters. daugh-ters. Richfield; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Woodbury, Hurricane; Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Robb, Paragonah, Mrs. Robert Mcbrlde, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gurr and Peter H. Gurr, Parowan. The program was furnished by a girls sextet consisting of Jackie Jack-ie Barrick. Pat Frame, Sheila Gardner, Kathle Leigh, Judy Jensen and JoLean Webster who sang songs of 50 years ago. A number by LaRee Urle accompanied ac-companied by Richard De Rose ion the guitar. Emil Dostalek, of New Harmony, a lifetime friend, played several numbers on the accordion, popular In their youth. Background music through out the afternoon was furnished by Deborah De Rose at the piano. Preceding the reception a buf-fet buf-fet dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Barrick for the immediate family fam-ily which Included all living children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. |
