Show I Golden Wedding Day Arrives for Jensens Another prominent Parowan couple, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jensen, Jen-sen, will observe their golden wedding day on Sunday, July 12. The day is to be observed quietly by the Jensons, with no special emphasis being placed on the day by the family, it is reported. Mr. and Mrs. Jensen were married mar-ried July 12, 1909 in Parowan, and have been residents of this city all their lives with Mr. Jensen Jen-sen engaging In farming and livestock raising. Mrs. Jensen has been an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and as a member of the Third Ward j Relief Society. I Joe was born in Parowan on Aug. 1, 1835 to Neils and Mary Neilson Jensen. Mrs. Jensen, was born in Parowan Jan. 21, 1891, a daughter of John H. and Mary Eliza Paramore Gurr. They are the parents of three sons and one daughter, Elmer, M. o Dee and LaMar Jensen, all of Parowan, and Mrs. Fred (Marietta) (Mar-ietta) Murphy of Kearns, Utah. They also have six grandchildren. |
