Show Golden Wedding Will Honor Noel B.Williams Mi. and Mr. Noel B. Williams will celebrate their Golden Wedding Wed-ding Anniversary at an open house to be held Sunday, Aug. 4 at Kanarravllle. Children of the life-long residents resi-dents of Kanarra will be on hand Saturday and a family gathering is planned on the mountain. They will return to Kanarravllle Sunday for the Open House. The family requests that no gifts be sent but an Invitation to attend and visit with the Wil-liamses Wil-liamses has been extended to friends and relatives throughout the area. The Williams were married at Parowan on August 4, 1913 and the marriage was later solemnized solem-nized in the St. George LDS Temple on June 15, 1915. They have raised a family of seven children Including: Gor-da. Gor-da. Both have been active In the LDS Church. don Williams and Mrs. Sheldon (Dorothy) Stuckl, Cedar City; Fouch Williams, Mountain View, Calif.; Stanley Williams and Douglas Williams, Kanarravllle; Mrs. Jim (Darlene) Wilklnsen, Salt Lake City, and Bryce Williams, Wil-liams, Portland, Ore. They also have 19 grandchildren. Natives of Kanarravllle, they have been residents In that community com-munity most of their lives. Mr. Williams made his livelihood as a carpenter. He has worked on such construction projects in the area as the Zlon Nationan Park Tunnels, the El Escalante Hotel and he also was employed at Boulder Dam (now Hoover Dam) during its construction in Neva- |
