Show Marian Bradshaw I Becomes Bride j Oi Floyd Munson Miss Marian Bradshaw, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bradshaw, Brad-shaw, and Floyd Munson. son of Mr. and Mrs. Lavar Munson. ex- 1 changed marriage vows in the L D S temple in St. George Saturday, Sat-urday, Jan. 13. with President Harold Snow officiating. The young couple were honored hon-ored at a reception at the Bradshaw Brad-shaw home Sunday evening, after af-ter which they left" fr Fort Lew- ; is. Wash., where the groom is stationed with the 213th Armored Armor-ed Field Artillery Battalion. The bride will remain with her hus band until his unit is transferred probably to overseas duty. Both the bride and groom have been prominent in musical circles cir-cles in Cedar City, both in the schools and in the community. Both graduated from the Cedar City high school and the Branch Agricultural college. Mr. Munson entered military service when the National Guard was federalized federal-ized in August, and the bride has been attending the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. In the receiving line at the reception re-ception Sundav were, besides the bridal couple, the parents of both bride and groom. Hubert Munson,-best man; Mrs. Stayner L. Thompson, matron of honor; Mrs. Floyd Tucker and Mrs. Robert Bradshaw, attending matrons, j The bride wore a beautiful white satin gown, with long sleeves pointed at the wrist, with a lace collar studded with seed (pearls. Matching these were a , fitted cap, studded with seed pearls, und a finger tip veil. She 'carried a bouquet of white carnations car-nations on a heart of allusion veil, with long satin streamers. The nutrons wore matching gowns, Mrs. Thompson in green, Mrs. Tucker in Blue and Mrs. Bradshaw .in, pink. Mrs. Thomp son wore a corsage of yellow roses, anrj the other two ladies wore corsages of pink and white roses. The bride's mother wore a gown of apricot nylon with a lace overskirt. while the groom's mother wore a violet colored beaded gown. Pouring at the reception were Mrs. Don Draper, Mrs. Wm. Snow, Mrs. Karl Harrison, and Mrs. E. W. Southwick. Serving were the Misses Maridon Smith, Janet Jones and Zoe Porter. In charge 'of the gift room were the Misses Avis Palmer and Amilee Schmutz with the Misses Marjorie Webster and Velma Williams in charge of the trousseau room. Miss Ja-neen.Lunt Ja-neen.Lunt was in charge of the guest book. Assisting throughout the evening eve-ning were Mrs. Reed Bradshaw, Mrs. Marie Bradshaw, Mrs. Mac Naegle, Mrs. George J. Miles of Centerfield, Mrs. Ezra T. Benson of Midvale, Mrs. Thomas Cardon, Mrs. Hunter Nelson, Mrs. Wm. Dover, and Mrs. Parson U. Webster. Web-ster. Robert and Gail Bradshaw and Robert and Austin Munson acted as ushers. Instrumental music was furnished fur-nished by Roy L. Halversen, Mrs. Virginia Larson, Mrs. Jay Thor-ley, Thor-ley, Mrs. York Jones, Miss Renee Halversen and Miss Marian Decker, and vocal numbers by Herschel M. Neeley and Miss Emma Lou Warren. |
