Show Haltermans Greet Friends, Relatives At Golden Wedding Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Halterman greeted over 150 of their relatives and friends from this and neighboring neigh-boring communities Sunday afternoon af-ternoon at an open house held to observe their golden wedding anniversary. an-niversary. The event was held in the Relief Society rooms of the First-Second Ward chapel between be-tween the hours at 4 and 6 p. m. A program of music was presented pre-sented during the calling hours, with a short tribute and talk given by Mrs. Barbara M. Adams. Musical numbers included the following: A piano duet by the misses Cheryl Lynn Stubbs and Ruth Ann Knight; three old time songs by F. C Van Buren with Miss Knight at the piano, and a group of songs by two daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Fachlmer, friends of the Howard Knight family, who are vacationing in Fttiuwau anu t uie v ti mAnCTi Castle Recreation camp. Glen Halterman announced the numbers. num-bers. Planning and making the open house arrangements were relatives rela-tives and friends of the honored couple, their daughter, Mrs. Lois H. Fowler, who is visiting here from Los Angeles; Miss Terry Mandl, who is also visiting here from California; Mfs. Bain Math-eson, Math-eson, Mr. Alice Halterman, Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Parry, Mr. and Mrs, Paul Warby, and members mem-bers of their families of Cedar City; Bessie Halterman and Betty Bet-ty Lowe, Parowan. |
