Show Sandra Fife Pledges Troth to DeLynn Olds Miss Sandra Fife, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fill Fife, 4200 Las Lomas, Las Vegas, Nev., and De-Lynn De-Lynn Karl Olds were married August 4 in the LDS Ninth Ward Chapel with Bishop Byron Thornton Thorn-ton officiating at the double-ring double-ring ceremony. The ceremony was performed before large double satin hearts, banked with baskets of lavender gladioli, flanked by lighted candelabra. Mr. Olds is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Olds of Cedar City. The bride, who was given in marring! by her father, vcrc a floor length original gown of white nylon lace over net and taffeta. The fitted bodice had tapered wrist length sieves and a scalloped neckline. The full skirt was fashioned of four tiers of lace with a chapel train. A tiara of rhinestones and pearls held her elbow length veil of French illusion net. She carried a cascade bouquet of lavender and white gladioli with steph-a steph-a not is. The maid of honor, Miss Sandy San-dy Franklin, wore a lavender silk brocade sheath, with a matching overshirt of nylon organdy. or-gandy. She carried a small bouquet bou-quet of white and lavender gla-lioll. gla-lioll. She also wore white accessories, ac-cessories, and a small picture hat of lavender nylon tulle. Misses Caroline Ludwig, Joyce Roberts and Joan Brilliant serv-ed serv-ed as bridesmaids and wore identical dresss of blue silk brocade, bro-cade, with matching overskirts of nylon organdy. Trudy and Den ice Schopp-man, Schopp-man, nieces of the bridegroom, served as flower girls. Each wore pink frocks, and carried little baskts of gladioli. She had a corsage of white gladioli. The Bridal March and Wedding Wed-ding March was played by Mrs. Leona Clark, as well as the background organ music. Dennis Simmons, and Kent Prestwich sang "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing," arranged ar-ranged especially for the bride and groom by Nancy Empey. The following night an open house was held at the Ira Schoppmann residence. Ont of town guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Olds ) Cedar City, parents of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Fife of St. George, grandparents of the bride; Arthur Fife, Albuquerque, Albu-querque, New Mexico; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sargent. Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Ira Schoppman, Schopp-man, Cedar City. The couple will reside in Cedar City when they return home from a honeymoon in Northern Utah. |
