Show Local Couple United In Home Wedding The home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvln Mathews was the setting for a beautifully simple double-ring double-ring wedding ceremony Friday evening, December 3, uniting in marriage Miss Bonnie Mathews and Mr. Ward Perry, popular young Cedar City couple. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Bish-op James Heywood in the pres ence of thirty-four members of the Immediate families and attendants. at-tendants. Miss Mathews was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with a wide lace neckline. The skirt was caught up to reveal the lace ruffle at the hemline. Her full length veil was trimmed with a wide band of lace and she carried car-ried a bouquet of red rose b ids and gardenias. Miss Elizabeth Matheson was maid of honor, and the attending bridesmaids were Vyonne Chamberlain, Cham-berlain, Grace Esplin, Beulah Macfarlane, LaRae Slack, Lois Tucker and Betty White. Bill Roc co stood as best man for the groom. Following the wedding, a reception re-ception was held at the Mathews home. In the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. Melvln Mathews, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Perry and members of the bridal party. The newlyweds left for a short honeymoon hon-eymoon at Las Vegas immediately immediate-ly after the reception. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvln Mathews and a graduate of the Beaver and Cedar Ce-dar City schools. The benedict is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Perry and a graduate of the local schools. They will make their home in Cedar City. |
