Show Former Kanarraville Man Dies in Las Vegas Hospital KANARRAVILLE: Funeral services ser-vices for Emron Monroe Reeves, 55, a resident of Henderson, Nev., who passed away in the Memorial Memor-ial Hospital in Las Vegas, June 23, were held In Kanarra Ward Chapel Saturday, June 27. Bishop's Bis-hop's Counselor William Esplln conducted the services and Mrs. Nedra Ence was at the piano for prelude and postlud music. Speakers at the aen'ices were Alton Ford, Kanarraville; P. J. Williams, Cedar City, and Devon Reeves. Cedar City. Invocation was pronounced by Junius F. Williams. Prayer at the home of his sister, sis-ter, Jennie Williams, was by Patriarch Pa-triarch Samuel F. Leigh, Cedar City. Dedication of the grave In the Kanarra cemetery was by Bp. Joseph F. Williams. Musical numbers included the opening and closing songs, "I Need The Every Hour", and "Beautiful Home"" by the Kanarra Kanar-ra Ward Relief Society Singing Mothers; a duot by Opal Williams Wil-liams and LeRee Pollock, "Whispering "Whis-pering Hope". ' Mr. Reeves has been a truck driver for many years for various companies, and when he moved to Henderson 18 years ago he drove truck for the Magenese Ore company until he became ill. He was born July 3, 1903 In Kanarraville, a son of the late Wm. C and Ellen Perkins Reeves. He was a member of the LDS Church. He married Helen D. Hurley on Dec. 9, 1927, in Paro-wan, Paro-wan, and Is survived by his widow, wid-ow, three sons and three daughters, daught-ers, Don Parry, William H. of Henderson, Nev., and Gerald of El Monte,, Calif.; Mrs. Gloria Selle of Japan, Mrs. Beverley Jean Edison, Ontario, Calif., and Mrs. Patsy Rucker, Arcadia, Calif. Cal-if. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren grand-children and the following brothers bro-thers and sister: William Otto Reeves, serving on an LDS mis-siun mis-siun in South caroiina; r-idon, Monrovia, Calif.; Lynn and Waldo Wal-do Reeves, and Jennie R. Williams, Wil-liams, Kanarraville. Funeral services were also held in the Bunker Brothers Mortuary In Las Vegas, June 25, with Leon Sullivan of the Henderson Third Ward Bishopric officiating. |
