Show Funeral Services Held For Julia R. Stephens Funeral services were held in the Third Ward Chapel Thursday afternoon, af-ternoon, for Mrs. Julia Stephens, who died In Salt Lake City on Tuesday, September 25th. from a heart ailment. The services were conducted by Bishop Clair Piatt, and consisted of the following program: Invocation by Thomas D. Little. Vocal solo, "That Wondetful Mother of Mine", by Chauncey Macfarlane. Talk by Dr. James S. Prestwlch. Vocal solo, "I'm a Pilgrim", by Miles Walker. Talk by Mayor H. H. Lunt. Vocal solo, "Lay My Head Beneath Be-neath a Rose," by Miles Walker. Talk by Samuel F. Leigh. Song, "Sometime We'll Understand", Under-stand", by a quartet composed of Mrs Anette Betenson, Mrs. Zelma Lunt. Lorin C. Miles, and William 1 Macfarlane. I Mrs. Beth Leigh was accompanist accompan-ist for all musical numbers. Benediction by Wm. Macfarlane. Dedication of the grave by Herbert Her-bert W Webster. |
