P returned the first of the week from Idaho where they had been called call call- call I ed cd because of the death of Mrs Elizabeth Fife Webb 79 who died I on June In American Falls Idaho Mrs Webb who was born bom In Hamilton's Hamiltons Fort In 1859 a daughter of Peter M M. and Anna Barrows Darrows Fife FUe was the first girl born In Hamilton's Hamiltons Fort She was the last member of the family to pass from I this earth her brothers and sisters sis I tiers Including Peter Pete 1 I Mrs Daniel T T. Leigh and other well known residents of Cedar City having her In death Her parents were among the earliest pioneers of this section of Utah Her father was one of the first two men to settle on If Ham HamIltons am amIRon's IRons IRon's Fort Creek and was active In pioneering the entire valley Mrs Webb was taken by her mother to FUlmore when she was just a small child She resided there until about 45 years ago when she and her husband Edward Webb moved to Idaho Shortly after reaching Idaho Mrs Webb became and has a been an Invalid for the past 4 45 5 years the ravages of her ailment aliment finally taking her life Her husband husband husband hus hus- band her In death about abou t one year ago Surviving are seven children five lve sons and two daugh daugh- Also surviving are 23 grandchildren grand grand- grandchildren children and 1 I great Funeral services were held In hr in Idaho Friday and In- In in I 1 accordance with a request mad made madei e by Mrs Webb before her death deat h I Bp Leigh preached her funeral sermon Bp Leigh was called b by y I th the family to make the trip t to o Idaho In order that the mothers mother's s I request could be filled |
