WEBSTER Funeral services were held in the First Ward Chapel Friday afternoon after-noon for Herbert W. Webster, 80, who died suddenly on Monday, June 27th of a heart attach. The services were conducted by Bhhop II. P. Dotson of Cedar First Ward. Preliminary organ music, including favorite songs of the deceased, de-ceased, was by Mrs. Bernella Jones. Speakers Win. R. Falmcr, H. H. Lunt, and Parson U. Web:,ter, with j iiiuark.? by Bishop DoUon, and a' tribute from friends and neighbors, was read by Mrs. Francell Corry. The musLal program Included two songs, "Come, Coma Ye faints", and "Sweet Flowery Land" by a double mixed quartet consisting consist-ing of Miss Alice Williams, Mrs. Merlam Luks, Miss Lois Luke, Mrs. M irgaret Harmon, Ray Co.ss-lelt, Co.ss-lelt, Henchel Neeley, Myles Walker, and Vernon Jones, accompanied by Mrs. Brnella Jones, and vocal solo, 'The End of a Perfect Day'', by Myles Walker, acccompanled by Mrs. Beth Leigh. Invocation was by Frank B. Wood, benediction by Win. Macfarlane, and dedication of the grave by Samuel F. Leigh. |
