Show I Funeral Services For A. A L. L Lewellen Funeral services were held in the 1st Ward chapel this afternoon over the remains of A. A L. L Lewellen 39 who i died Monday May 2nd in the L. L D. D S. S hospital in Salt Lake City after SUffering suffering suffering suf SUf- fering for about seven months from Hodgkins disease from which there j I is no cure The deceased became ill in September September September Sep Sep- and after suffering for some sometime sometime sometime time was removed to the L. L D. D S. S hospital hospital hospital hos hos- pital about the first of the year where he remained until his death His wife Alice Rollo Lewellen was at his bedside throughout his illness and for forthe forthe forthe I the past two weeks Mrs Lewellen's mother Mrs Andrew Rollo and the deceased's mother Mrs John W W. Lewellen Lewellen Lew Lew- ellen of Temple Texas were also with him Besides his widow and mother he is survived by a brother Riley and his father John W. W Mr Lewellen has lived in Cedar City for the tho past few years where where he le e has been an employee of the Union Pacific System He and Alice Rollo of this city were married just eleven months ago today The speakers at the funeral services services ser Foer- ser ser- vices were Dr M. M J. J Macfarlane Councilman Councilman Coun Coun- cilman Charles R. R Hunter and Bishop F. F B. B Wood of the First Ward who conducted the services sen Opening prayer pray pray- er was given by Alex H H. H H. H Lunt Mrs Lewellen the deceased's widow will remain at the home of her parents parents par par- Mr and Mrs Andrew Rollo while his mother will return to her home in Texas within the next few days das |
