The News stated that Mr. Jones is mayor of Cedar City. However, How-ever, he is not mayor although he did fill that office with honor a number of years since, and is still one of the city's most enterprising en-terprising and successful- business busi-ness men and )an inveterate booster. From the eligible list thus secured se-cured appointments wilUbe made during the coming Spring for service in the Philippine Islands beginning with the opening of schools next year.
