Show Wedding Bells. St. Dominic's church was the scene of one of the prettiest weddings of the season Wednesday evening, Dec. 2, when Miss Amelia M. Sullivan became the bride of Walter V. Holsten. The church was artistically decorated and a large number of friends gathered to witness the ceremony which was performed per-formed by Rev. Francis Ai O'Neil, O. P. The bride was beautifully gowned in white satin with long tulle veil, and carried bride roses. Her only attendant attend-ant was her niece, Miss Rose Sullivan, who also wore white. Timothy Sullivan, brother of the bride, performed the duties du-ties of best man. The bridal party entered en-tered the church to the strains of Mendelssohn's Men-delssohn's wedding march, played by viiss rvauieiiue i.ciii, who mau tendered ten-dered several selections during the evening. After the ceremony a reception recep-tion was tendered Mr. and Mrs. Holsten Hol-sten at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Sarah A. Sullivan, 2438 King street. American Beauty roses were used to adorn the house for the occasion. occa-sion. Miss Lottie Sullivan, the young sister of Mrs. Holsten, who is attending school at Colorado Springs, came to Denver for the wedding. Fort Logan society assembled Wednesday Wed-nesday evening to witness the marriage of Miss Laura Donnelly Trute, one of the very popular young women of the fort, and Thomas Wheeler Leary, drum major of the Twenty-first infantry band. The ceremony was performed by B-ev. Father Brady at the bride's home, which was profusely decorated with ferns, palms and white chrysanthemums. chrysanthe-mums. The bride wore a charmnig gown of white crepe elaborately lace trimmed, and carried a showed bouquet of bride's roses. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. James : T. McDonald, while Sergeant James T. McDonald acted as best. man. After the ceremony an informal reception was held. Mrs. Katherine Murphy, who died on Thursday, Dec. 3, at St. Joseph's hospital, hos-pital, was buried Saturday with requiem requi-em mass at Sacred Heart church.
