For nineteen years Baggott has been working with Top of Utah Military Affairs Committee (TOUMAC) to sponsor Military Appreciation Night, a military themed night in which players compete wearing camouflage to show their support for Team Hill and their families. "Military Appreciation Night is the most staple promotional night we do each season and the top drawing event we have," Baggott explained. The general public always wants to know when Military Appreciation Night will be, the players enjoy doing it every year and a lot of Raptors fans are military veterans. "As long as the base wants to be out here with us, we're going to keep inviting them," said Baggott. Friday, Aug. 10, is this year's Military Affairs Baseball Night when the Raptors will take on the Grand Junction Rockies. The opening pitch is at 7 p.m. Baggott, in conjunction with the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce wants to attract the people of Hill Air Force Base to downtown Ogden to forget about their troubles, have a good time and spend some quality time with family. He says that sometimes even Team Hill needs to be reminded not to take ourselves so seriously and have a little fun. "Over the years," said Baggott, "there were free general admission tickets given out several times throughout the year, but this is our only remaining free family event." Baggott explained that base personnel will always receive free general admission to any home game by simply presenting their personnel identification. However, admission fees would still apply for friends and family members.
