Hill's A-10 Maintenance Depot and First Solar, a South African manufacturer of solar panels, were the inaugural recipients of the Robert E. Fox Award: "The Race to Excel" The awards were given to both organizations at the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Symposium, which was held at the Davis Conference Center earlier this spring. The 571st AMXS was honored for its use of integrated methods, particularly a technique called Critical Chain Project Management, which helped reduce the number of A-10 Warthogs on the ground Mountain View Baptist Church (SBC) Just W of Hwy 89 on Hwy 193, Layton ^ A Prescription For Healing The World 476-0102 Pastor Tim & Min. "More importantly, the amount of raw data we process has increased by 36 percent while simultaneously increasing overall cost performance by 130 percent." The process improvements made to the Warthog have increased the warfighter's operational readiness in supporting the war efforts in the Middle East, by returning the airplanes as quickly as possible, and in the most current configuration. "The ground forces love the A-10," Hoffman said. "Not only because of the physiological effect it has on the enemy, but for the protection it provides for them.
