Brice Wilson , Dental Services Chief, USAF Hospital Hill, gave the commencement address and presented certificates to 20 military and civilian graduates of Class 73-Management Course for Air Force Supervisors. SSgt. Eric P. Martinez, Munitions Storage Branch, Distribution, received the Honor Military Graduate Award. Oscar Green, Landing Gear and Trainer Equipment Technical Services Branch, Materiel Management, was presented the Honor Civilian Graduate Award. Carol Earl, Fund Control and Reports Unit, Accounting and Finance Branch, Comptroller, was presented the Conference Leader's Award. Other graduates were SSgt. Charles P. Anderson, Ellis D. Anderson, SSgt. Ed Brown, SSgt. Arvid Bierman, TSgt. Robert Fulghum, TSgt. Richard Kulasiveg, SSgt. Steven Martin, SSgt. Kenneth Meyer, SSgt. Charles Monahan, SSgt. Gary Pendley, Al Poppell, Capt. WISE WORDS Words of wisdom have made men famous, nations great and have motivated society to advance both in welfare and health. Weekly, the past five months, wise words have been displayed in posters on the Directorate of Maintenance directory lioard located in the south entrance of Bldg. loo. The posters, owned by Ted Syn s. Industrial I.ab Division. Maintenance, reflect on basic principles that contributed to the advancement America and that which made it the envy of the world. Interestingly enough, although the posters are years old, the wise words that the posters depict are applicable today in our evervday living, words to hike heed of in this day of change The posters were obtained early in World W'ar II. At that time Mr. Syms contributed to the manufacturing of parts for Allison aircraft engines, the aircraft which he later flew in the U.S. Air Corps. While Mr. Syms collects posters and tools around in a classic '55 T Birdi his wife collects Madame Alexander dolls.
