The efforts of the past five years in applying the program's "Pride in Workmanship" philosophy have been gratifying to me. I feel that it is vital for us to continue with the dissemination of the ZD philosophy. I wish to express my special appreciation to all Ogden AMA employees who have achieved new goals through reduction of errors, elimination of waste, and improved operational support with reduced costs. It has taken special effort on your part during this past year of reorganizations and realignments. Your achievements for the past five years are convincing Ogden AMA evidence of outstanding efforts to eliminate mistakes. Over 13,000 Ogden AMA employees have received perZero Defects Awards in recognition of error-fre- e formance. 1 In reemphasizing the importance of Zero Defects, General McCutcheon said, "I wish to express my special appreciation to all Ogden AMA employees who have achieved new goals through reduction of errors, elimination of waste, and improved operational and support with reduced costs.
