She is relatively n newcomer to the Air Force and to Hill. 1 1 Elaine worked for IS years as an executive secretary in the convair division of General Dynamics in San Diego, California. It was there that she met her husband, Maj. John M. 3 Mickelson. In Februarys 1966, they were transferred to the Hercules Plant, where he was made chief of development. Less than one year ago, they were transferred to Hill AFB. This is the first base for Elaine, so we should extend our hearty welcome to her as well as our deep appreciation for her efforts toward bettering the OWC. Elaine is actively engaged as secretary in the Family Services office. In the last election of officers, the OWC delegated the responsibilities of secretary to her. With her background, we can rest assured that this office is in very capable hands. Likes Bridge Elaine has no children, so in her spare time she can be found making up a foursome at a bridge table, on the golf course, or in her garden. For one who is so new to the Air Force and to the wifely activities which consume much of our time, Elaine has de- F K N garlic U C. water tsp. each: cloves, celery salt, cinnamon, black pepper, ground sage.
