Show 3, 1961 HILL TOP TIMES' rage 11 Annual Bowling Towymment Begins Tomorrow Prizes On Hand For Military, Civilians The second annual Hill AFB men's handicap singles and doubles bowling tournament will be gin tomorrow at 1 p. m. and run through Feb. 20, at the base al- eys. Military and civilian personnel on the base are eligible to partici pate in the American Bowling Congress endorsed tourney. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded the winners of each divi- - Smith Reelected President of Rod and Gun Club CLUB MEMBERS ENJOY FISHING OUTING Netting Cisco fish on the Bear Lake proved to be an adventure for members of the Hill Rod and Gun Club and their families. In addition to fishing fun, they consumed hundreds of hotdogs and doughnuts. Counting their take are (standing) Melvin Udy, E. B. Dockermejian, Nolan Manfull, and Greg Noall. Seated are Tom Meade, Ray Westwood, and Carol Clark. , Wayne C. Smith was reelected president of the Hill Rod and Gun club following an election which saw him compete aerainst ' Iee Thorup. The first vote had re sulted in a tie of the two contenders for president. Smith also held club reins last year. Proud of unusually good scores are Mat Candia who rolled a 60 series scratch, Jim Hogge,with 650 series, Cherry Bennett with 623 series, and Wayne Bybee with 621. He also had a high game of 237 scratch. Current high men include Earl Morris with 180, Dave Workman with 183, Hank DeBoer with 180, and Bob Knapp with 177.
