Mr. Odd came to Hill' in 1954 from the former Ogden Arsenal where he was the public information officer. He and his wife, Marilyn, a base worker, reside at 157 N. 3rd West, Kaysville, with their three children Mr. Kay, a management analyst in the Inspector General's Office, came to Hill asan aircraft mechanic in 1941. Assigned to the LG.'s office since Oct. 1954, he resides at 165 W. 750 N., Clearfield, with his wife Emily and " " ; " CLIMAX of the airpower symposium was the awarding of several citations for outstanding contribution to airpower. Distinguished speakers, panelists, and air power enthusiasts gathered together during the event to exchange ideas and discuss problems of the space three-da- y age. In addition to banquets, luncheons, and panels, the symposium featured ceremonies honoring persons who have made outstanding contributions to air power during the last year. The awards were made at the banquet by Dale Erickson, vice president of the Air Foroe Association, and at the luncheon by Reece Robinson, Utah Wing commander, AFA. AFA awards went to the following: Colonel Victor L. Anderson, Outstanding Utah Service Member; Donald Tasker, Outstanding Utah Industrial Associate; James R. Bonner, Special Service Award; Reece S. Robinson, Utah Man of the Year; Edward L. Madsen, Outstanding Utah Squadron Commander. Keith L. Nichols, Outstanding Utah Active Member; Raymond Yates, Outstanding Utah Associate Member; Grant E. Secrist, Outstanding Utah AFROTC Cadet; Vern W. Bangerter, Outstanding Utah CAP Cadet; Dr. Armin J. Hill, Outstanding Utah Aviation Educator; and AlC William W. LaGrassa, Outstanding Utah Airman. Citations were also issued to Gary Everett Cox, Cadet Colonel, R. BYU AFROTC; and William T. Dewey, Cadet Colonel, Utah State University, AFROTC. Appreciation The officers and working committees of the Air Force Association wish to express their thanks for the splendid support given by the OOAMA employees to the fourth annual Airpower Symposium. The Airpower Ball was attended by more than 10,600 Hill fielders and their .guests and all . who found time to attend this gala affair reported that the entertainment provided and the prizes given were worth far more than the $1.00 admission, he said. The proceeds from the dance were used to bring outstanding educators and leaders from all over the United States to Utah to discuss the problems of the space age.
