Show January HILL TOP TIMES 23, 1959 Page 7 THE VERY LATEST on the Hill Happenings It was good to see some of our old friends again who visited the base last Friday to participate in Retirement ceremonies held in their honor. One of the retirees, Jim Fappas, Installations, sent this greetand friends: "I am so happy to be here ing to his former today. I wish to thank each and everyone of you for the privilege and pleasure that has been mine these past years in my work and association with you. I am proud to be a civilian 'retiree' of this base. I have many, many fond memories to brighten the years of my retirement. I thank you again most sincerely for the part each and everyone of you have played in giving me these memories. I assure you that this certificate shall ever be a symbol of those memories. Thank you." We could all say, "thanks to you, too, Jim and it's loyal employees like you that has made the base what it is today. Good ers luck!" STORK CLUB One of the proudest grandfathers you could meet is Aries Stein-e- r, Maintenance officer. Judging from the picture of his grandson (at left), you can't blame him. Little Carl Jay Cloward is the son of Aries' daughter, Connie, and her husband, Sherman. Prior to her marriage, Connie was a steno in Aircraft Inspection. Lt. Col. W. D. Bailey, Chief, Shops Division, and Mrs. Bailey are the parents of a baby boy born January 12.
