Paul Groff was one of the original handful of workers sent from Middletown AFB in January 1941 to set up the base. He was then chief .clerk of supply. At the time of his departure he was chief of management and procedure, supply. Mrs. Groff held various supply positions, the last being supervisor of a zonal class in the requirements and distribution division.
