Most of these positions are located in Japan, Alaska, Okinawa and Guam. Typists, stenographers and posi tion classifiers are urgently needed at these overseas bases, Miss Carl son said. Also in great demand are civil, architectural and safety engi neers. Alaska bases have vacancies for and furn plumbers and ace repairers. The plaque was presented to Captain Shepherd L. Schulz, squadron commander, by the group commander, Lt. Col. Robert L. dinger. The January winners, the 25th Air Police Squadron, tied with the 25th Food Services Squad, for 2nd place honors in February competition. Weimer of the Aircraft Repair squad is presently attending a special course in sheet metal work at Chanute AFB, Illinois. SSgt. Joseph S. Warner, also of Aircraft Repair is attending an engine course at the Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Corp., Hartford, Conn. Four AP's are taking NCO advanced police course at Tyndall AFB, Florida.
