The film library at Hill A F base is used extensively by civic groups throughout the entire Ogden Air Materiel Area. During the month of February, 733 separate films were loaned by the library. That means a lot of work on the part of the three workers assigned to the Training Aides film library. Frank Giles, film library coordina tor, and his two assistants, Alvin Larsen, Jr., and Cecil Nelson, have their hands full when it comes to handling all the paper work connected with loaning films, running each film through a carbon tetra chloride bath and inspection before it is shipped out, and screening an occasional film 9n their small train ing aides theater. ' Many Hill A F base personnel, actively connected with veterans and Boy Scout or Air Scout groups, can now make arrangements to show films that will help further their programs. All. they have to do is contact Frank Giles at the Training Aides Film library and make arrangements to borrow the films. However, there are certain conditions that must be certified to by borrowing agencies: the films will not be shown at any gathering where an admission fee is charged; film is sound film and will not be used on a silent projector; a competent projectionist is available. 8, STORE FOR MEN" SINCE 1907 2473 Washington Blvd. Ogden |
