Show tMeet Your Supervisor CD i March 22, 1945 COLONEL PAUL W. WOLF, Commanding OATSC EDITORIAL STAFF . With a number of years of news-4- in paper experience,' an education accounting and business adminisFostration, Francis W. (Charlie) ter came to Hill Field on a permaon nent civil service appointment 1941, when ' OATSC was July 1, its still in infancy. An administrative assistant to the chief of management control, his ' home is in American Fork, Utah. He came to the field as a fiscal accountant and auditor in the post administrative inspector's office. Since that time he has received four civil service classification promotions while advancing to his present position He has proven his worth during the more than' three years he has worked at Hill . The $10,000 indebtedness of the cafeterias to the Hill Field Welfare Association has just been paid in full. This has been accomplished during a perk4 when a number of much needed improvements have been made in the two restaurant units. With its financial house in good order, its indebtedness liquidated, and sufficient funds on hand to meet the current requirements of operation, it is anticipated that the cafeteria will be able to pay regular dividends to the Welfare Association, thus assuring a continued recreational and entertainment program. Where the Association formerly received, a flat percentage of the gross receipts from the concessionaire, it now benefits from the net profits of the operation. cafeNecessary expenditures in a continued program of teria improvements are contemplated. However, such a program will be spread over a period of time in order that the Association activities, curtailed somewhat in recent months, may go ahead again on a greater scale. Just as the Welfare Association is the direct concern of all the civilian employes of this command, so the success and service of the cafeterias concerns all of you. The amount of funds available to the Welfare Association to carry on its many activities will be in direct ratio to the cafeteria patronage. After all, in the last analysis, active support of the restaurants by all employes means an expanded program of entertainment and recreation for all our workers. It is up to each one of you as association members to lend your continued individual support by your patronage.
